Wellness that actually fits your life
I’m not here to sell you a 12-step morning routine. These are the practices that genuinely make me feel good — body, mind, and spirit — at this stage of life. No trends, no pressure. Just what works for me, here in Montana.

What wellness means to me
I stopped chasing the wellness everyone else was selling
For years I thought wellness meant keeping up — the newest powder, the strictest routine, the version of myself I was supposed to be by now. It left me tired and vaguely guilty, which is exactly the opposite of well.
What changed things wasn’t a program. It was permission — to let go of what didn’t fit and keep only what actually made me feel good. A long walk instead of a hard workout. Real food, cooked simply. Sleep I stopped apologizing for.
So this is my honest version. Not prescriptive, not perfect. Natural living looks different for everyone, and I’d never tell you what yours should be. I’ll just share what works for me, and trust you to take what’s useful.
Where I focus my energy
Six things that make the biggest difference in how I feel after 50.
Natural Nutrition
Eating simply and well after 50 — real ingredients, fewer rules, and meals that actually leave me satisfied.
Movement & the Outdoors
Montana trails, long walks, and staying active in ways that feel like living — not like punishment.
Sleep & Rest
The most underrated pillar of all. How I finally learned to rest well — and stopped feeling guilty about it. I go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time every day, no matter what. It is that important.
Supplements & Remedies
What I actually take and why — with honesty about what earned its place and what I quietly gave up on.
Skin & Hair
Natural care for gray hair and aging skin. How I keep my silver bright and my skin comfortable, without the fuss. I try to use the most natural products i can find, but some products that i like and work well aren’t 100% natural. I am ok with that. If that does not fit you, I will mention the more natural products you can get as well. i just try not to stress about it too much.
Mental Wellness
Mindset, slowing down, and living intentionally. The quiet inner work that makes everything else feel lighter.
“Getting older doesn’t mean falling apart. It means finally knowing yourself well enough to take care of yourself properly.”
